Terms of service

Last updated 30 August 2026

In short

Use REPS-IELTS to study, not to copy or resell our questions. Paid plans are charged every month until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time from your account settings. If you are not happy with your first payment, tell us within 14 days and we will refund it. Our band scores are our best estimate and are not official IELTS scores.

Agreeing to these terms

When you make an account on www.repsielts.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. If you are under 16, a parent or guardian must make the account and agree to these terms for you.

What we give you

REPS-IELTS is IELTS practice: exercises in Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking, a study plan built from what you get right and wrong, and feedback on your essays and your spoken answers. We add and change material over time. We may also change or remove features, and if we remove something you were paying for, you can cancel and we will refund the part of the month you have not used.

Our band scores are estimates. The numbers this app gives you come from our own marking of your work. They are not official IELTS scores. Only a real IELTS examiner can give you a real band. Our estimate can be higher or lower than the score you get on exam day, so please do not book or skip an exam on the strength of it alone.

Your account

  • One account is for one person. Please do not share your login.
  • Keep your password private. What happens on your account is your responsibility.
  • Give us a real email address, because that is how we reach you about your account.
  • If you are a teacher using this with a class, each student needs their own account.

What you may not do

  • Copy, download in bulk, resell or republish our questions, texts or audio.
  • Use a program to scrape the site or to create accounts automatically.
  • Try to get into another person’s account, or into parts of the site we have not opened to you.
  • Upload anything illegal, or anything that is not yours to upload.
  • Use the feedback tools to have work marked that you will present as your own elsewhere.

Our exercises, texts, audio, images and code belong to us and are protected by copyright. You may use them to study. That is the only permission you have.

What you write and record stays yours. You give us permission to store it, to mark it, and to show it back to you, which is what the service is. We do not publish it, and we do not use it to train any model of our own.

  • Prices are in US dollars and do not include any local tax you may have to pay.
  • Paid plans renew every month on the same date, and are charged automatically until you cancel. Stripe takes the payment.
  • If a payment fails, Stripe will try again. If it keeps failing, your account goes back to the Free plan and you keep everything you have already done.
  • We can change our prices, but never in the middle of a month you have paid for. We will email you at least 30 days before a new price applies to you. Founding prices are the exception, below.
  • If you subscribed while we were offering a founding price, you keep that price for as long as your subscription runs without a break. It does not go up, even when the price for new members does. If you cancel and then subscribe again later, you pay the price we are charging on the day you come back.

Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel at any time in your account settings. You keep the paid features until the end of the month you have paid for, and you are not charged again. We do not delete anything when you cancel — your history is still there if you come back.

Deleting your account also stops the payments, but it stops them at once and you lose the rest of the month you have paid for. If you want both, cancel first and delete the account after the paid month ends.

First payment: if REPS-IELTS is not what you expected, email us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. You do not have to give a reason.

After that, we do not refund part-months, because you can cancel before the next one starts. If something goes wrong on our side and you could not use what you paid for, tell us and we will put it right.

The band score guarantee

This is the promise the pricing page makes: reach your target band, or keep studying free. Here is exactly what it means and what you have to do.

Who it covers

Students on the Pro and Intensive plans who set a target band in the app before they start.

What you have to do

  • Study at least 30 minutes a day on at least 5 days a week. This is the same amount your study plan asks for by default, so following your plan is enough.
  • Keep that up for at least 12 weeks before you sit the exam.
  • Practise all four skills, not only the one you like most. Your study plan already spreads your time across them.
  • Sit the official IELTS exam while your subscription is active.

There is nothing for you to record. We check the practice already saved on your account, so studying in the app is all the proof we need. If our records are not clear enough for us to tell, we will decide in your favour.

What we do if you miss your target

Send us your official IELTS result within 30 days of getting it, from the email address on your account. If you did the above and your score is below the target you set, you get continued free access until you reach it. We keep giving you the paid plan at no cost until you reach that band or tell us to stop.

This is free study time, not money back. The guarantee is more free access, not a refund of what you have already paid. If you want your money back instead, the 14-day rule above is the one that applies, and it only covers a first payment.

When it does not apply

  • If you were on the Free plan, or your subscription had lapsed when you sat the exam.
  • If you studied less than the amount above, or for fewer than 12 weeks.
  • If you cannot show us the official result, or it is in another person’s name.
  • If you changed your target band after you sat the exam.
  • If you did not sit the exam. We cannot promise a score on a test you did not take.

Stopping an account

You can delete your account at any time in your account settings. This removes your data and cannot be undone — see our privacy policy for exactly what goes. If you are on a paid plan, deleting the account stops the plan as well, so you will not be charged again — but it stops it that day and does not refund the rest of the month.

We may close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why. If we close your account for something that was not your fault, we will refund the month you were in.

What we do not promise

We work hard to keep the site up and the material accurate, but we cannot promise the site will never be down, or that every question is free of mistakes. If you find a mistake, please tell us — there is a report button on every exercise, and we do fix them.

We cannot promise you a particular exam result. Your score depends on your work, and no practice site controls it. The guarantee above is what we offer instead of a promise we could not keep.

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses — for example an exam fee, a visa application, a university place or a job — that follow from using or not being able to use this site. If we are found responsible for something, what we owe you will not be more than you have paid us in the 12 months before it happened. Nothing here takes away rights you have as a consumer that cannot be signed away.

About IELTS

IELTS is owned by the British Council, IDP: IELTS Australia and Cambridge University Press & Assessment. None of them are connected to REPS-IELTS, and none of them have checked or approved anything on this site.

Changes to these terms

If we change anything important, we will email you before it takes effect and change the date at the top of this page. If you do not agree with a change, you can cancel. Carrying on using the site after a change means you accept it.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts deal with any dispute. If you are a consumer somewhere else, this does not remove the right you may have to bring a claim in your own country.

Please email us first. Almost everything is faster to fix that way than through a formal complaint.
